Information about Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV) in our area

Rabbit hemorrhagic disease (RHD) is a highly contagious viral disease that can affect both wild and domestic rabbits. As of the latest official update (August 2020), there have been no reported cases of this disease in the state of Florida, however, this disease has affected rabbits across multiple states, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, and Texas as well as northern Mexico. Here are a few things rabbit owners should know about RHDV.
