Veterinary financing at Paws & Claws Medical Center

Care for your pet should not wait on a payday. Paws & Claws Medical Center accepts two financing options: CareCredit and Scratchpay. Both are third-party lenders. You apply with them, they decide approval and terms, and they pay the hospital. We do not set their rates, and we cannot promise approval.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a health and wellness credit card that can be used for veterinary care at enrolled hospitals, including ours. Approval, credit limits, and any promotional financing are set by CareCredit and its issuing bank and depend on your application.

Scratchpay

Scratchpay offers payment plans for veterinary care. Scratchpay says checking your eligibility does not affect your credit score. Plans, rates, down payment, and approval are set by Scratchpay and depend on your application.

How to use financing here

  1. Call (786) 361-9344 and ask for an estimate for your pet’s visit or procedure.
  2. Apply with CareCredit or Scratchpay, before the visit or at check-in.
  3. Tell the front desk which option you are using when you pay.

Questions about your application, payments, or account go to the lender. Questions about your pet’s estimate or invoice come to us.

Pet insurance

If you have pet insurance, ask us at the visit. Insurance usually reimburses you after you pay, so financing and insurance are separate. Coverage depends on your policy.
